For most work around the house it’s a wonderful tool. Having two batteries is very nice and they charge quite rapidly. It took about 1 hour to get a full charge. So the second battery has time to recharge until you need more power.

I liked the chuck a lot! It was the first time I used a drill with this kind of chuck that you can tight very easily and will not untie.

I bought this drill to attach to my ice auger, but NiCad batteries are very bad at low temperature. I couldn’t get it to drill one hole with one fully charged battery. It’s not powerful enough to drill through ice either. I think it would kill it in the long run.

This said, it’s a very nice tool and will use it a lot around the house and on my second property!
